hurst shifter came in need some install help

came in today from brenspeed, on the install is it better to use a lift or jackstands? im guessing a lift, im a big sob, any tips or tricks are appreciated

I just jacked up the drive side of the car and slid under ther to remove the three underside bolts.

Nothin to the install, hardest part is getting it into the hole and positioning. The rest was butter.

Make sure you have some Lithium grease and lock tight (the removable kind, I think blue LT).

Install is easy. I'm a novice and really didn't have a problem except getting the tools together (that took longer than the install!)

Ramps would work better IMO.

i used jack stands in the front. i just finished my write up, and will link it later.

Hey abouttobeglue, I just noticed you're in bham, AL. If you need any help I have an '06 GT and I work in b'ham and live in Tuscaloosa. My wife works 7-7 Fri, Sat, and Sun and I have absolutely nothing to do. If you need some help, I'd love to just see it done.

Hey if you go to fordmuscle.com or muscleford.com they have an article with pics of that install Good Luck Love mine Can't remember exactly the right order of website but it's one of the two
