I was actually telling the 2005 Mustang GT owners where they could find THEIR computer code without having to go to an aftermarket parts supplier to find out... So they could have some sort of hand in their own car and not have to pay (or ask) someone else to figure it out for them.
Well, you did say that they did not need to have their A/F checked because the car runs so rich from the factory. It got even worse when we added the MMR CAI. So, yes, a tune was in order. The car ran fine, but the A/F was sky high. I am sure that others cars will run fine, too - for a while but can eventually have longevity problems. This issue from a "free" mod is not really acceptable on a $25K+ car - is it?
I was not telling you to go anywhere, I was merely stating that you were talking about a Lincoln LS and NOT a 2005 Mustang which may not respond to modifications in the same way that the Mustang will. If yours is running fine, then so be it, but MY Mustang was running LEAN.. Way too lean not to mention - to, maybe, prevent a fellow Mustang owner from having a catastrophic failure.
Actually, These were the questions/statements, but I have lost interest in arguing this topic.
I have stated that my car in particular runs rich and that the tune was different. This was taken as me telling everyone that their cars run rich and not to bother getting a tune even after I told everyone where to get their cars tuned at. All of my remarks have been taken out of context and then I am accused of taking other people's remarks out of context.
This could go on forever, and to be honest with you, I have far better things to focus my energy and attention on.
All I ask is that you respect other people on this forum. If someone tries to help, there are foar more constructive ways of telling someone you do not agree with them than telling them to take their thoughts and their car elsewhere and to not post in a thread because you do not like what that person said.

"The next modification done was removing the Hydrocarbon filter right after the MAF sensor (see pic below). This piece adds a fairly large restriction in the air inlet. Other tests have show removing this piece without a tune will actually cause the car to lose power. This is due to the ETC system and can be taken care of within the tune. I can't stress how important it is for the 2005 Mustang to get a tune whenever any modification is made.
Removing the HC filter provided additional 10rwhp and 9rwtq when combined with the SCT tune. That brings the new numbers to 272 rwhp / 297 rwtq. "
I mean i like the gains the '05GT gets, but i need a tune everytime i mod the car? WHy is there no degree of adaptive learning like the earlier models??
