Perhaps the cop did not witness the first incident and only saw what was going on at the side of the road after both parties were outside of their vehicles. Disrespecting lawmen will get you nowhere...

Eventually the red-light runner will get into a wreck or get ticketed down the road in the future due to his driving habits.

I hear ya. But, damn it would be frustrating to be telling the cop that someone almost caused an accident then kicked your car. I guess we expect them to jump in their car and go get em' but the 'system' doesn't allow that. He has to first observe the situation ... blah blah blah.

Indeed you are right regarding the 'what goes around comes around' for the guy that ran the light. I guess it is just a pet peeve of mine when people intentionally damage others property.

Well I would definatly be mad as heck, but I have a good control over my temper. I probably would have stopped and got out too....noone disses the stang! But I wouldnt yell at the cop....You may want to get that temper under contal man lol.

Although I have confronted people for shaking their fist at me for me going "slow" over speed bumps or the such. I dont do anything, just let em know im ticked and give them a little scare

But anyways glad everythings pretty much ok, and glad the guy didnt bust out a shot gun on you .

The cop was messing with him like HE was the one that did something wrong. He got his car kicked, the guy got away, the cop did not pursue the guy that kicked his car. I would have disrespected the moron too.

I bet you there is more to the story than all of this....ive been pulled over before for BS and been pissed but never blew up in the cops face...if anything the more logical you act the better the cop is going to handle the situation.

I'm sorry but i think the fact that the cop didn't see a fking thing is BS! This whole incident happened within a total of 20 seconds at the most. I mean i am really stretching it out. How could the cop not have seen this guy at least blow through the light? To those of you who are sticking up for the cop this time i think you guys are idiots. Yeah i always treat cops with respect. I give them the Yes, sir, No, sir treatment but when something like this happens to an "INNOCENT" PERSON innocent being the key word here people! I believe that the cop is a dickless Moron! How the fk could he not have seen this whole incident. He had to be no more than 3-4 cars behind me. There were no trees or bushes blocking his line of sight. And he had to hear the one guy slamming on his breaks. This whole thing is a bunch of BS!

Ok sure some of them can be but not all of them in the "real world" as you put it...ive got 2 living on my street alone and 2 others a few streets down...they always wave when they see me and since I dont act like a tard I dont get any more attention than I want from the others.
Im not saying there are not any bad apples out there because they exist but dont think all cops are bad people because they are there for a reason...and hopefully if you keep thinking like that you will realize one day when you need them those "dicks" will be there to save your ass.
The immaturity and poor spelling of the first post leads me to believe that some of the story is missing and that its pretty hyped up...you might get better results when you arent jumping around yelling in front of a cop next time

Shallowreef: Even if the cop saw the whole thing, do you really think the cop will go after that guy in the streets, put a few lives in danger to get the guy who burned a light and hit your car with his foot?!? Do you really think it's worth it?? Do you think the cop cares about all that?

Cops won't never, ever take any risk unless some life is in danger, else, they're just like us and will tell themselves, aaaaa fk it...
