I am in trouble

I am trying to install my eibach pro-kit springs and I can not get them in for the life of me... I tried using an external and internal compressor, but I can't get them to work. The internal's shaft goes up too high, and I don't have clearance for the external compressor. I tried prying it in, but I wont work. I know of MFE's method, but I do not want to unbolt the control arm and I do not have enough jacks for the job. So i am very screwed. Is there something that I can band the springs with? I am in a real need for help. Thanks guys.

I'm talkign about the front springs by the way.

just take the strut loose and drop the a arm down all the way and take a prybar and pop out the old spring and the new ones are shorter so they slide in pretty easy then take the jack and jack the a arm back up and install the strut bolts works pretty easy

When I put in my FRPP "c" springs I just put the springs in between the control arm(with a jack under it) and the k member then just jacked it up. I applied some light pressure with my hand to keep the spring from coming out until it 'stuck' in there and then I jacked it the rest of the way so I could put the struts on.

I have the old ones out... getting the new ones in is the hard part... The new springs are slightly shorter than the stock springs. It is so difficult to hold the new spring in place because it needs to bend to fit in there... I should have just taken this **** to a shop.

It's not that bad just put the spring into place and jack up the a arm it will work. Done it numeruous times

If you desire, you can use an internal compressor. I had to use a shim under the head of the long shank that runs down the middle - otherwise the shank bottomed out on the frame.

Beasly B, I think it is easier for you because you use springs that are much shorter. Mine are just a tiny bit shorter than stock.
