I have tried searching and come up with the same things. I am now getting my high rpm bucking back and it is making me want to sell this thing. 3rd,4th and 5th gear especially. I have just changed my spark plugs and set my timing to 12 degrees. It stopped for a week and today it started back today. I am going to the dyno in two days and don't want to waste my money if I am not going to get the results that I want with a messed up car. Do you think that when I get the dyno tune that they will not have a problem fixing the higher rpm bucking with the tune? I mean they get on it in like 3rd or 4th gear and if it is bucking it will not get correct number readings and they will not be able to tune it correctly, right? I am so pissed and am about to sell this piece of crap. I read about people who get a dyno tune and it just feels like a different car. I hope that is what it is going to be for me. I don't know anymore...

Getting a dyno tune is no different than getting your clogged pipes in the house fixed by a plumber.

Just as you have to depend on the plumber because you don't know about plumbing ... ain't that how it is with tuning your Stang

Just as there are good plumbers and bad plumbers ..........

There are tuners that know what they are doing
and
Those who don't

I would just talk to the guy you have selected to tune your car and voice your concerns. Seems to me, if he is knowledgable, he may have you check on some stuff before you put it on the rollers but ... once more ... you're gonna have to let him know about your concerns.

You also wanna talk to some of his customers to see if they feel they got what they paid for.

I would not be comfortable about just hoping for the best
after all
its a service you are paying for
so
you need to get good value for the dollars you are gonna spend

Just how I see it

Tune it and it will be a different car if you get the right people.

but will a dyno tune fix idle, high rpm bucking and also be able to turn my fan on a little soon to keep my car cooler?
