i called my brother-n-law at 12pm(i started breaking down my car again at 10:30am) well he said he was going to take a shower and be over to help....well i called him at 2:30 and said he had some things to do and would be by later.....by 4pm i was thinking if i continued by myself i wouldn't get done putting the cam in and everything else if i continued so i can make it to my new job tuesday....so after taking 1/3rd of the motor down i decided to put it back together..... i have the intake, headers, and headlights left....not much to do but had no light.....i can always install the cam later or cheat and pay a performance shop to do it ....

It really does happen to most of us , it took me a month to do rearend swap and 3 weeks to find a short and, 2 weeks to do exhuast.

i didnt plan on running into trouble.

Look at it this way, you will be able to take it apart quicker and put it back together faster

Good luck at your new job

it took me like 2 months to install my KB, which was really only like installing a new upper and lower intake.

it took me a week to do a fuel pump install because of all of the headaches that ensued. Leak here, leak there, pinhole in the lines, etc.

It took me another week to do an engine swap because I was doing it myself in a gravel driveway and did the whole "while I'm at it I may as well. . . "

Happens to everyone, for sure.

ahh the "while im at" ends up making the estimated cost go thru the roof.

That happens to me all the time, but if it wasnt for that I wouldnt have half the mods that I do, lol.
