I finally decided which way to go with the Stang

Hi GTSETGO i'm fairly new to the forum. I like your stang. I'm on the carbed team too ;) My clunker is in my sig. She runs like heck ;) Have fun with the new engine that thing's awesome BTW so is FBD's engine if that's yours bro. Makes mine look like a sewing machine motor.

Yep its mine... allll mine :D thanks man!

:SNSign: go carbs

:hail2: :hail2: :hail2:

Er, um thanks :D

Once I got into the car and really looked. It wasn't as bad as it seemed. :p Plus, it gives me the chance to build the car the way I WANT to. :D

There is something to be said for making it your own. :D Once you start making mods it's like an addiction. You think Betty Ford has a place for 5.0 Mustang owners?

Eh, it was $1000 more for fuel injection. I don't mind tweeking the engine all the time. Gives me something to do. Plus I am having him add chrome pieces. I don't need all the extra wiring that burned up if I go carb.

there you go, i bet it'd be an absolute nightmare to fix that burned wiring harness

BOOOO carbs

Are you 'tarded or something?

Tell ya what...we'll both start with $2k to buy bolt ons for a stock short block. Rules are we can only buy brand new parts at Summit prices, no discounts allowed. You have to start your build with an H/C/I upgrade, and no power adders allowed...we're going all motor.

I bet you anything in the universe i'll make more power spending the same amount of money if you build yours with EFI. Once you buy a decent set of heads you won't be able to afford much else, while i'll get a carb/intake/heads and a cam and still have change left over.
