I found a snake

Hey all. I've never posted in this section before but I would like to ask a question.
I found a cobra sitting in this ladies driveway. I've been eyeing it up for 3 years now, It hasn't moved a wheel since the first day I seen it. I am planning on going over this weekend to see what the deal is.
I can't see anything wrong body wise but I'm wondering if maybe it needs a motor or something along those lines.
It's tires are even starting to go flat now.
It's black on black and I'd say about an 96-98 judging by the factory wheels unless they are all the same.
what do you guys figure it'd be worth ballpark??
I know I need more info and I will post it when I get it.
I'
m just wondering what these cobras go for these days.

mine has 55,607 on the clock. Vortec SQ blower, headers, x-pipe, steeda shifter, 373 gears, MT et's, boost and fuel press gauges, rear seat delete, mach 460 sound system(stock), flowmasters, aluminum drive shaft, lowered, upp and lwr control arms, sub frame conectors, and much much more. I gotr mine for 9000.00. I have a budy who is going to quit his job and go to school full time and he asked if I wanted it. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said. I would say depending on the miles and mods, anywhere from 8,000-12,000. 12 being LOW miles and CLEAN WITH MODS. I hope that helps.

thanks alot boss.
If it would happen to have a blown motor or tranny what would used go for
i'm not up on my DOHC stuff,
I'f it's a pre 96 I have a motor already so thats no worry.
another question which tranny's are in these the t-5 still or the t-45 or what?

tranny response

Just so you happen to ask what type of tranny is in these. I am running 426 horse power and 380foot pounds of torque and I just blew the tranny. To much power trying to get through the t-45. It is a good trans but I am def getting a tremec. are you thinking of putting a 5.0 in the car:nono: if the motor is gone. Or do you have a spare 32V laying around.

About the 5.0 question.
If it's a DOHC 96-98 than no I wouldn't stuff a 302 in it, if it's pre 96 than Yeah cuz I have a spare ready to go under the work bench.

I'm just tryin to get an idea of what'll cost to fix if it is something major like a motor or tranny issue.

If it's a 5.o cobra than I won't bother even buying it i'll keep my fox

Well if you look at the tail lights and the bars are horizontal its a 94-95. If the tail lights are vertical than its a 96-98. If the wheels look like mine(see sig) than its a 96-97 if they are five spoke its a 98. If it overheated and blew the headgasket it will need new heads ($1500-2000 new or 500-1000 used) and labor is about $1500 as its a pain on the 32V. If she runs see if it makes a ticking noise from the drivers side head, if so it has been overheated and needs new heads. The 96-98 have T-45 and the are good for about 450rwhp, anything more and you need a TKO or T-56. Even at 400 you can kill it if abused. Hope it helps.
