I got $600 dollars to burn..... help

I got $600 to spend on upgrades for my 87 GT mustang... its all stock except cold air intake and underdrive pulleys.I also have the factory restrictive 4 cat h pipe.

I was thinking 3.55 gears.(i do some highway driving).
mac 2.5 inch off road h pipe.
B&M ripper shifter or steeda tri-ax(for the track).

That would be around 600 roughly..... what you guys think , differnt parts ? aftermarket headers etc...

if its a 5 speed get 3.73's, and Pro 5.0 short throw. Get a full exhaust. that should be a good start

3.55s for gears ($300 installed)
cobra intake ($250) or cat-back system w/H pipe.

gears, Pro 5.0 shifter, 76mm C&L and an offroad pipe. You won't do these all new on your $600, but spend some time on eBay and the classified ads and you should be pretty close.

For instance: I've got a brand new, in the box, set of Pro 5.0 3.55s to get rid of. And I'd be willing to sell them for $100. (+shipping). I think I still have a 73 or 76mm C&L MAF here too.

How about a Pro 5.0 shifter and then the rest on some fine Canadien strippers?

I'd do 3.73s and subframe connectors. 50resto.com has subframes for 50 bucks, full with seat supports. I have a set but they're sitting here in my room, gotta get em welded up. If you have money after that shifter or start exhaust.

Gears and Shifter. If you have any money left over (and if you don't have emissions in your state, get an off-road midpipe.

I say gears and FULL exhaust. Then save up and port the lower intake.
