Welcome back. I'm on here a lot less too now.

I did the college thing too. Granted I didn't go to Stanford, but I was pretty happy with my performance and graduating GPA. My school is known for its business programs (my field of study) and kind of notorious for being a big party school on the East coast. But, I can say that I took no part in giving it that reputation at least.

Hey man! Yea the name used to mean more to me, but it's really about how you fit within the school and how you can hustle your way into anything past college. I studied engineering and ended up in corporate finance, but I have coworkers in a m&a practice I work for now that majored in poli sci, etc. -_______- major didn't matter, just strong analytical skill and willingness to work the hours with a little touch of actual finance.

I hear you on the party scene, we have none lol too much coursework to complete, didn't really let loose until my last 3 months there. Not to say I didn't have my fair share of wake-up-in-a-parking-lot type of nights, but I definitely didn't rage as hard as my friends who went to, say, the UofA in Tucson

LEGIT. no time wasted, huh?? That's awesome man, I wanna pull the trigger on another car but parking in San Francisco is already terrible with one car, gonna have to get creative. It doesn't seem like the termis in this area have budged in price relative to everything else either

Nice to see you back around. I remember right when I got on this site back in '08, I saw you around a lot. Still see some of your posts when I search every now and then.

Psh. Some of us are still showing how it's done with supercharged 2-valves. NPI 2-valves at that, for a while.

And man, you talk about drooling over 03/04 Terminators....I always have, and still do....but by the time I graduate (~2 years), it's gonna be HARD to turn down a deal on a new 5.0 or GT500...

I like doing things the easier way...

I was thinking about a new gt for a while, but I'm also at the point where I'de like to throw a little money in the bank for some cushion, and buying a 30k+ car woudln't allow that.

Yea, I understand entirely. But my point is that in 2 years, they won't be $30k+. They'll be the same price as an 03/04 Cobra....which is gonna make for a tough choice. BUT, the Cobra will always win in the looks-department as far as I'm concerned. So that'll probably be the deciding factor when the time comes. It's still pretty easy to make an 03/04 go pretty fast...lol.

Nah, I doubt it. I've got school and work this summer, and I doubt I'll be able to get off both of them. BUT, I am looking to go to Fayetteville (or somewhere) very soon with some non-90+ degree weather. I've got some top-secret mods that I want to test out.....some mods that may give you more of a run-for-your-money than you think.

working at a dealership has its perks, one of them being driving the new 5.0's. However, i cannot wait to find another job, because selling cars has to be one of the tiest and most boring jobs on planet earth.
