[/IMG]I think I got one of the last bone stock 5.0s out there, its an 89 midnight blue hatchback 5 spd bone stock from the air silencer all the way to the exhaust!! even the map light works!! Now i dont even know know if i should mod it or keep it stock, i do want to throw some lx tail lights and maybe some clear headlights, i was also wondering since its a 25th anniversary edition, is there anything special that sets them apart from the rest of the foxes? also what years came with the pony emblem on the dash?? thx.

Sweet ride, I would just buy Pony wheels and put them on, but I wouldn't get rid of the stock turbines, it is always nice to have all your original parts.

The only other thing I would do is search www.50resto.com for a new passenger side seat belt sleeve. Yours is a little limp......

Nice ride. I like the color. I agree with getting rid of the turbines, just put them away in a shed or somewhere. What is the mileage on it and what did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking? Nice find.

the mileage says 60,188 so im guessing 160,188 i got it for $2,000 which I thought was a deal I couldnt pass up, I already put on some fresh spark plugs, changed the oil and cleaned the interior, I plan on changing the pcv valve, rotor cap and flushing the radiator and cleaning the MAF this weekend, any other recommendations??

wow you got an awesome deal on that thing, I bought my 89 GT bone stock as well. Well its way far from stock now and part of me wishes I kept it stock while the other side is happy with the stuff I did to it. I do wish I left the body stock and put my money into the drivetrain first instead.

mine was that stock when I bought it 3 years ago
since it has got
BBK headers
2 rear cats removed
flowmaster mufflers and flow master 2 1/2 manderal tail pipes
3:55's
MGW shifter
removed air silencer
SFC's
LX tails (still have the GT ones for the stock look)

everyone tells me I need to put some big rims on it and lower it...I say no I like the turbines and the stock stance
