my whole car seems to shake doing about 45-55 mph, and i mean shake. shifter shakes , steering wheel shakes i know some thing is not right. I heard about flipping the driveshaft 180 so I went ahead and did it will drive it tommorow to see if it gets better. Everything on the front is new except one balljoint but it doesnt really have any play in it. Also my car sits really low and i dont have a bumpsteer kit on it i dont know if putting one on would make it any better but if anyone has one let me know about the improve ments it made. If anybody can help please let me know before this drives me insane. Thanks         :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:

Its those boobies in your avatar that are making your stang shake. The stang gods have cursed you. Set the rear end up on stands, not jacks and make sure its real secure. Chock the front wheels. Start it up and put it in gear. I let out the clutch in 5th and got out of the car, looked underneath and pushed the gas with a stick. Easy to tell the driveshaft was twisted. This will at least tell you if its in the front or back. Could be a tire out of balance or a bent rim even. Driven though any mud? I have gotten mud packed on my rims enough to make the car shake real bad. Not on the stang.

I get a picture of you doing that Jerry :stick:

I would suggest making sure there isn't a bent wheel or a separated/out-of-round tire first, but the shifter shaking is usually a sign of driveshaft vibration. It could be a bent shaft, out of balance shaft, bad U joints but I don't think it is even worth messing around for. When all is said and done I think you are much better off with the FMS Aluminimum Driveshaft.
