I Hate These Words

According to Merriam Webster...

Superb, outstanding,
and terrific are synonyms for very good. And there are many other words in English that can have the same meaning. All ten words below can be used to mean very good or excellent.

  1. awesome
  2. amazing
  3. fabulous
  4. fantastic
  5. excellent
  6. great
  7. incredible
  8. outstanding
  9. superb
  10. terrific

But yet you did.

Stang is another one of the mis-uses I hate to hear too. As well as the way my mother used to pronounce the name for the body:

Mus Tang
"It's a Mustang mom, all one word. Stop pronouncing the word like it's a condiment."

Penterra is the pronounciation ( You use really short "a") Rednecks call it a Pan-terra.
Another one of my peeves.

Porsha is the proper German pronounciation, Not Porsh.

Lamborghini. Not Lambo.

No need to go on. Obviously we have different opinions on what "amazing" means.

I agree for the most part I might use it now and again in a manner such as, "hey, you wash the stang?" But never, "hey check out that stang!"

I hate 215 stock horsepower vs chevy's 275 and so on and so forth. We finally caught em boys, $20k later.
