i have a big problem on my hands

ok guys i need some help... i know its kinda off topic but i have a 95 taurus with a regular 3.0L... i had been leaking oil so i changed my oil pan gasket last week... went find didnt leak. then this week i had a tranny cooling line rust out quick fix with a rubber hose and some clamps... tranny didnt leak after that now all of a sudden my transmission is leaking bad like a none stop drip coming out of where the oil pan bolts up and there is a metal shield on the shalow end of the pan... this shield got a little bent going back in and makes a rattleing noise... the tranny fuild is leaking from there bad

Sounds like your torque converter seal is leaking.

how much of a job would that be??? would some type of tansmission leak stop fix my problem

no dont ever use any leak stop additive..radiator..transmission..oil...and my favorite head gasket stop leak...they are all crap...the tranny has to come out for that so you looking probly between 400 and 500 but the seal is like 10 bucks!!...labor is expensive

well i probally could do it myself in my shop at school but this car isnt really worth much money so idk if it would be worth it... how much of a job to get one of these trannys out.. is it easier to take the motor with it??
