I have a brake problem!!!!!!

I have a 96 cobra, and i keep getting this loud rattle sound from the front end. I have tracked it down to the front calipers, becase when i put my foot on the brake it stops. Plus I took off a tire and gave the front end a good shakin. the local ford dealer gave me a pic of all the components for the front brakes and everything seems to be there, cause i thought there might be a anti-rattle clip supposed to be there, but theres not. so if anyone knows anything about this year of cobra's front brakesthat can give me sum help that would be great. oh yeah i forgot, i need to purchase a new clutch and need a good brand and website to go to, this being my forst manual car.

The rattle could be a number of things. Take it to a shop and see what they say

Yes there are supposed to be anti-rattle clips that prevent pad movement. They are located on the side with the pin.

In this picture, they are the silver clips under the pin. They prevent the caliper from bouncing on bumps

Sounds like missing anti-rattle clips; especially since the sound goes away when you put pressure on the brakes.
