I have a high idle issue with my 1974 mustang 2 v6 2.8

How do I adjust my idle?

Idle is adjusted by a screw that contacts the throttle linkage.

(This is a Holley, but they're all similar in this regard.)

Be sure to thoroughly check for vacuum leaks as well. High idle is good indication that there is additional air entering the intake tract.

There are 2 idle screws on your carb
Main idle screw on the drivers side similar to the photo but that is a Holley and not your 2BBL Autolite carb
2nd screw is the fast idle screw under the choke cap on the passenger side of the carb
