Okay, so i'm driving back from a party like 20 miles away from my place. And its like 330 in the morning so i'm tired and just want to get home. Well i'm on a 55 and i'm drifting back and forth between 65 and 70. Not a car on the road. Sure as **** i go around the bend and heres the cop. Pulls me over and gives me a ticket for doing 70 on a 55. Never had a ticket before, and i'm good at getting out of them ha, honestly thought i would get out of it. Oh and i drive around on our dealership plates and hes giving me **** for that. But once i knew i wasn't getting out of it, i let him know that its cops like you that makes people think your all dick heads. So atleast i got my punch in! I wasn't even in the stang, i figured if i got a ticket, i could of atleast got it done right in the stang. Getting pulled over in the stang at 85 in a 55 would have been more worth it!

Running 15 mph over at 3 am and you wonder why he pulled you over . Cause you were speeding and might possibly been drinking. For all he knew you could have been on your way home from a night of drinking at the bar and that you were already speeding just gave him a reason.

From the tone of you post once you figured that you weren't going to get out of the ticket. You started acting like a dick too. So sorry you get no sympathy from me.

There is an easy solution to your problem. Don't speed.

Your right i probably did. I've been pulled over 13 times now since i was 16. 13 times the charm i guess? ha. This wasn't even bad compared to most. I got pulled over in my home town leaving a 50 mph zone going into a 65 mph zone doing 83 on the 50 mph zone. And the cop walks up and hes like there is no reason why i shouldn't give you a ticket, and he didn't ha. And the same cop pulled me over about a month ago doing 41 in a 30. The first time he pulled me over he walks up and says "I knew this day would come" **** you not. ha. But that was all in the stang so it was more fun. This was just gay cause i was just cruising along and in the stang i was hot roddin it.

ummm speeding tickets arent cool... You dont gotta get a speeding ticket once in your life, and it wouldnt have been better to be doing 85 in the stang... If its 3 in the morning and no one else is on the road why would you speed, if a cop sees you theres no one else to pull over but you. The first ticket is BS, ill admit, but why would you say its the begging of alot of speeding tickets... A bad driving record is not cool, and could actually make you not get a good job. Right now im 18 and I work at a minimum wage job, I have the opportunity to get a very good job right now, paying $10 an hour, and its guaranteed that I get the job unless they check driving records. It is a job where I will have to be driving around. I got my license suspended 7 months ago, and havent gotten a ticket since, I drive slow now, etc. luckily I wont have to use a company car so I dont think they'll check driving history, but it would suck to not be able to move up in life, an be stuck at my ****ty job, because of a few tickets...

To quote Jim Carrey: "Stop breaking the law ass hole" lol

Dude, stop going more than 10 over. Usually you wont get pulled over unless you're doing 10 over. Also you aren't going to get where you're going much faster anyway unless you are going pretty far, like over a couple hundred miles, and if you get pulled over, then the time wasted getting your ticker shoots to hell any chance you had at getting to your destination quicker anyway.

13 tickets in how many years? I got puleld over ONE time and I gaurentee I am older than you. I got my ticket dropped because it was a bogus not obeying posted limits ticket.

I don't see the harm in going a little over the limit late at night, we all do it when we want to be home. But to complain about the cop doing his job when he had every right to... now that I don't agree with. You got nabbed, he did his job well, made sure your weren't drunk and going to kill someone, and sounds like he wasn't picking on you, by the fact you have so many other tickets.

Probably real lucky you weren't in the Mustang.

been pulled over 5 times, no tickets yet. Just be nice, put your keys on the dash, put your handson the wheel and turn your overhead light on and have everything ready so he doesn'thave to wait and get impatient with you. Only one of mine was over 10 over. I was going 57 in a 45. Thats the worst one I've been pulled over for, but the road is like the autobahn of GA so it should really be a higher limit. And he was a cool cop, just told me toslow down a little bit.

Its all about making money. I recently got one on my bike for 10 over. Thats a slight twist of the throttle on a crotch rocket.

I'm afraid to count how many tickets I've recieved over the last 10 years. My record hasn't been clean since I was 18. Although coming up in October, there won't be any more moving violations on my record.

Either I'm getting old and wise, slow or lucky.

Another member who cant read I see........ I never said anything about not speeding. I speed all the time. I just said avoid doing more than 10 over because most cops wont pull you over for less than 10 over.

I also drive on a dealer tag. but haven't been hassled for it. My used car manager on the other hand got a ticket for misuse of dealer tag. That's the hazard of driving a demo I guess.
