i just got the f303 cam.

hey guys havent been here in a while i have a 94 cobra i just got the f303 cam i was woundering see i know with 1.7 rockers i am gonna have a vavle clearence issiue if i go to 1.6 is that going to be ok? and do you think it would be ok without a tune for a lil bit till i get it tuned? let me know guys. thanks

Arent these questions ones u ask/answer before buying a cam?


lol Anyhow, im unfamiliar with the F cam. Good luck though.

lol i know but i know i can use it just wanted to make sure 1.6 rockers woruld be ok!!

didnt fit in mine. had to notch the pistons more.

i ran an x303,on a stock motor, did not have any clearance issues, i did however had to change the springs.

The F303 cam has a 0.050" lift duration of 226* (advertised 288*), lobe separation angle of 114* (good blower cam), intake centerline of 109*, and a valve lift of 0.512" with 1.6 ratio rockers.
You'll need to check the PTV clearance and upgrade the valve springs on the Cobra heads. Should be OK without a tune but not ideal.
