I love my insurance company... question inside

Alright the first part of my title: I hit a bird on the highway so the insurance company is giving me 530 dollars to repair the chipped paint on my hood... with no deductible or points on my license because i reported hitting wildlife.

So now i have 530 dollars to repair my hood (the fiberglass cracked a little bit on the front passenger corner, hence the cracked paint).

My question is, how much would it cost me to get a fiberglass Cobra R hood put on and painted.

And yes that 530 dollars is mine to spend, so if the cobra R hood and paint and installation is less than 530 dollars i dont pay a cent.

I dont have any first hand knowledge but i would have to imagine that you could get it done for that much if not very close to that amount.

you will have some out of pocket expense if you get an aftermarket hood...............but the insurance money puts you only having to pay a little for the hood.
