I made a "progress" video, check it out

Wow, thanks guys! I'm glad you liked it. Hopefully next year I'll get more footage and have more than just drag strip videos.

I wish I could get a louder volume for the car sounds, but no matter what I do they are quiet. I use my wife's OLD HP desktop computer and it has a multimedia hub on it where I can hook up RCA cables to it to convert it to digital form. While its playing on the computer the volume is normal, but as soon as I record it it then becomes quiet. ANyone know a way around this?

P.S.- how do the rest of you guys convert your track tapes to digital video so that it can be seen on the net?

Paul- if I could figure out a way to do, trust me I'd like to hear my car too on there.

Fork- that's cool as hell. Do you have your car at school? Where are you from? Molly wanted to know what your roomate's name is.

Black95GTS- that is a video I wanted to take ALL SUMMER, I just never got around to it. The car is down right now and I probably won't have it running for a week or so. I will do my best to get that video before I put the car away for winter though!

Mystery- yes, my site is still the free anglefire site, but most of my pics are hosted on mustangmods.com where I signed up for the 1000 file upgrade. This keeps down on my bandwidth and storage space on angelfire.

Tom- as I said above, when I convert the video's from my tapes to digital, I lose almost all the sound.

Jason- I'm running a Pro Motion "kustom klutch" setup. It runs around $320 and its VERY streetable and its slippable unlike the spec stuff. I HIGHLY recommend it. I have THE SAME clutch Pro Motion puts into most of their real street cars... they run into th 9's on this thing!

The old movies on my site from the drag strip I used Premiere and actually had a buddy digitize them for me like you did. The volume you can bump up in the software. You basically can set a curve and do fade in's and out with it too.

The more recent ones I've done at home with iMovie and my G4 Mac. Haven't been able to get a good version of Premiere yet. But I will soon. I have a MiniDV camera and it's all Firewire.... really doesn't take that long to grab some video and export it out of iMovie. :nice:

I need to take a pic of the in car mount of the guys in my club made... it's pretty sweet for being free. :D

thanks paul............

i went back and watched teh vids really closely and i can see where you are slipping it off the line........and when you let out totall how it just takes off........kinda cool.........how hard is the engagement if you were to just dump it...........don't want my gears going bang again....lol
