I might have a loose rocker, how hard is it to fix myself?

Torque specs on the rockers are 18-25 ft-lbs. Pull off the intake and valve cover (or covers if more than one is ticking). Now would be a good time to check the rest of your rockers and pushrods out. Remove the fulcrum bolt off the top of the rocker, and pull the rocker off. Check it for cracks and such. If you pull the pushrods out, make sure they are not bent (do this by rolling them on a table, if they wobble, they're bent). MAKE SURE THE PUSHRODS GO BACK IN THE SAME SPOT THEY CAME OUT!! Same for the rocker arms. Put the rockers back on, and loosely thread on the fulcrum bolts. Bring the cylinder you're working on to TDC on the compression stroke (both valves are closed) and tighten down the nuts to 18-25 ft-lbs. Put all the crap back on and hope it doesn't tick anymore, lol.
 
How do I close both valves is it by manually turning the engine, and how will I know when both valves are closed, Iv never done this before so I dont want to screw up my engine. Also "MAKE SURE THE PUSHRODS GO BACK IN THE SAME SPOT THEY CAME OUT!!" is there a wrong way to put them back in, a certain direction they go or do you just mean put them back in the same hole they came out of? When both valves are closed, both rockers should be in the same position. Any other time, one rocker is going to be open. The pushrods need to go back on the same lifters, on the same lobe of the camshaft they came off of. Each lobe, lifter, and pushrod is going to wear individually. You want to make sure you keep these matched up together.
