69, I think this is one of them deals where you got to just get all the stuff and make it happen. These cars were made to accept both manual and auto tranny's so it is all bolt on stuff.

I re-did my set up and it is not an easy job so take your time.

Good Luck,

I can try to scan a diagram from my 68 assembly manual. But it really is quite simple, especially if you go with a cable clutch setup. Anything in particular that you are struggling with? In a nutshell all you need to do is replace the brake pedal you have with one from a manual car, add a clutch pedal (ebay), get a crossmember that will fit a t5, and decide what type of linkage you want to use (z-bar, cable, hydraulic).

I don't know specifically for the 69 if that is all you need. I don't know if your driveshaft will fit without being shortened. I am currently doing the swap in my 68 and that was all that was needed. I am using a t5 out of a 95 GT and it is fitting perfectly. Search the web there is tons of info out there about this swap. I have linked a few articles from fordmuscle.com that might help.

I just put my T-5 in my 69 . I know the clutch cable setup is not as easy for the 69. I have been looking for a setup that someone designed themself. $250+ seems like alot of money to attach the cable to the stock pedal.
