Thats what I was looking for but really didn't help me much. I have the 3 something first gear t-5 for right now but will be upgrading to a g force tranny with the 2.89ish first gear soon. Anyway I'm looking to get my chunck rebuild and was wondering what gear to get. I was thinking 3.50-3.90 but my friend tells me that will be too much with the 3 something first gear in the t-5. I figure I'll just be cruising in 5th anyway and was wondering what my rpms would be at 70ish in 5th with 3.50-3.90

youll be fine with a t5... an auto c4 might be a problem with a 3.90, but not a t5. alot of t5 folks use at least 3.55 to 4.10. u will be quick through the gears and you can cruise in 5th

I did this spreadsheet for a comparison of various rear-gears and tire sizes using a 1:1 ratio (3rd gear on the chart) and the stock OD ratio of a AOD (which I do not recall offhand).
