Here in a month or 2 i'll have enough money to finish my H/C/I and get it all installed. If i didnt go on that damn cruise it would already be done. Anyways, i've got half ass polished fox valve covers, and plain FMS TB, Elbow, and explorer intake. I dont know what to do with them, i'd like to paint them to make them look nice. I dont know if i should go ahead and finish polishing the valve covers, and just paint the intake and TB grey. Anybody have any ideas?

Keeping polished stuff looking nice will take a lot of work. I say give them a nice paint job, not one from a spray can.

your engine needs a lot of help in that movie you did it looked BAD. Like Troy said maybe body color can't really think of anything that would look good with a car your color

Do I sense some bitterness?

Painting the valve covers and intake and stuff will make for less maintenace in keeping your motor looking good. Polished stuff takes a lot to keep it looking good, trust me. The only chrome thing I have on my motor are those valve covers, and they are a PITA to keep clean, they always have fingerprints on them. It sucks.

I say go with body color and a nice contrasting color like a silver or black/charcoal. Maybe mix in some chrome or polished parts, but they are a PITA to keep clean, especially polished parts.

Aight I'm taking an intervention. How come in like the last 5 threads I've seen in the 'Talk' section every one of your posts has been a negative one.

If you have some anger problems take a step away from the keyboard because honestly it's getting quite annoying.

Maybe you and Matthias just have some personal beef but don't bring it on here, they make PM's for that.
