OK.. I have a 1995 Mustang GT.. Car was running fine on the way to a car show.. On the way home I come to a stop.. and start to go, and it shaked a bit.. and continued doing so.. I finally got home.. put in park and it started to shake like crazy... Any ideas? A balancer?

do not crank it until you check the balancer you can damage the engine. a bad balancer will have the symptoms you describe...

YOu guys are on the right track. Really look the balancer over. The outer ring often de-laminates to the inner hub.

Guero does bring up a very good point however. If the balancer is ok, you can do a Cylinder balance test to figure out which cylinder(s) are not contributing.

Good luck.
