i actually already own that obd reader and the obd one doesn’t get anything to it

Sometimes if you rotate the MAF to a different position it helps. Loosen the clamps that hold the tubing to the MAF. Rotate the MAF 90 degrees if you can and retighten the clamps. Give it a try and see.

If you can’t rotate the MAF, you can always put the factory air filter stuff back in and see if the problem goes away.

By the way, the factory setup is already a cold air setup. You probably gained nothing by removing it. Is the new filter exposed in the engine bay?

Also, changing to long tube heaters involves O2 sensor being further from its stock location and typically involves wiring extensions. How did all that go? Double check all of that and make sure wire connections and wire securing is good.

If I were you I'd take the CAI off and go back stock to see if it clears up. The electrical problem you have needs to be sorted out though. Like stated turning the maf may help.

i figured it out cylinder 4 is misfiring and im trying to figure it out its not the distributor cap or rotor cs i js replaced those and they dont look bad and i js replaced all the wires after this happened so idk why its doing it. i hope its not a bad cam or something cause i was hearing an intermentant clicking above cylinder 4

Just out of curiosity, how did you discover #4 misfiring. Is that cylinder not firing at all or is it randomly misfiring?

well i knew it was misfiring js off by sound so i did the water bottle spray test and that one was a little hot but no where near the others so i checked the spark plug and changed the wires cause i already had new wires and it was still doing it

yes and it won’t read the car on or off
Try the paper clip/ jumper wire method and reading the check engine light flashes, should be plenty of YouTube videos sh9wing how, if it still won't out put codes chances are high ecu needs repair or replacement. The obd2 port is present on 94-95 v8 cars but its not connected to anything so it won't out put any readings,it was there for the v6 models.
