Thanks for that info on the rockers. im about to take my short block apart and clean everything again (its been sitting for a year and a half) and start calling to order this stuff.

ive heard good and bad about the BBK headers, do you have these, and are you happy with them?

I would'nt go with anybody else IMO. I have had the shorty chrome and now LT's in ceremic and their great. My buddy has LT's on his 98 PITA to install but did wonders on his pretty much stock motor.

I bought the oil pump drive shaft already.. its the arp one. i hadnt heard of length problems before this, but ill make sure to pay attention when i put it back together.. im considering that when i take the short block apart to clean it up, taking it back to the machine shop and having it all balanced. i didnt before because i was told (not by the machine shop) that if im not turning 8,000 rpm's, then i wouldnt need it done. but now im seeing differently. i bought the ARP balancer bolt already as well, and looks like ill be selling the HV oil pump and going with the standard pan (damnit i wish i didnt sell my stock one) i believe the paperwork that listed all the specs from the machine shop left with my ex wife when she took everything from my house, so will they be able to tell how much the crank was ground? i dont believe it went all the way to 10/10, but i want to make sure. ill definately buy a new balancer as well... thanks for all the input, and the lesson on heating and freezing metal
