I need opinions please-?

Hi guys,

I was recently in an accident (driving an Acura TL) and am now a bit "gun-shy" about driving my 'vert with my kids in the car. I am thinking about a roll bar, but the other option is to sell it and go for a coupe.

I was wondering what a realistic price would be for my car, i know what it books at, but....

90 GT convertible.
Pony rims w/ new Toyo Proxes
magnaflow hi-flow cat h-pipe
flowmaster cat back
3.73 ford racing gears
transgo shift kit on A/T
completely repainted in original color (med. cabarnet red)
custom black/ maroon vinyl seats
LX spec. ed spoiler-deleted luggage rack
new rear window-glass, new top motor / lines
new radiator
new ford headlights
all seals on motor redone last summer....

I think that is all, so if I sell--what should i ask? OR should I just roll bar and keep on going???????

Thanks

1. :worthlesb

2. I would personally ask for 4000 or more. However, that depending on the sight of the car, any damages, ect.

3. If you have the chance to get a coupe, I would go for it. But it seems you've put some work into what you have, so a roll cage may be in order if you're looking to make her faster and safer.

I would post pics, but I am not on my home computer, so I dont have any with me. The car is mint, there is no damage at all. I am leaning toward the autopower 4 point roll bar...

but I just am a little shook up so I am picturing the worst possible scenario in my mind. Other than a rollover though, I am not sure that a 'vert is that much more unsafe than a coupe.
