Well pretty soon the car is going into storage for the winter and i would like to to do some modifications in the mean time. I am finally at the point where i can start spending money on mods. Here's a list of the set up i would like run, keep in mind i am looking for a street-able/reliable car that would make about mid 13's power. Trick flow stage 1 cam, gt40p heads, bigger t/b, tf street or track heat intake, bigger maf and injectors and probably a set of gears. What kind of tuning would have to be done? How user friendly are the Tweecer or QH. I wanted to run this by you guys before i made any purchase's.

Stick or Auto trans

I'd do steeper gears first :Word:
ratio depending upon type of trans

For MORE POWER mods with the most gain for buck spent

While tb's, meters, rr's and the like are easy mods to do ......
they will do little if anything for you now

The 4 cat mid pipe is very restrictive especially if it is partly clogged up

An intake ... not a pipe ... would also be good for more power

Long or Mid length runner upper
depending on what your long term goals are

Do a 3.73 gear swap next and then upgrade the rear lower control arms so you can get the existing power down. Then you can add more power with heads/cam/intake. Weight reduction helps too.

What exactly are the control arms going to do? make it launch harder? What am I going to need as far as ordering the gears (kit wise)?

Great

From what you've said ... 373's would be about right

ALSO

It would be a BIG help to all members if you created a sig so when you
ask Q's, everybody won't have to ask what you now got and you won't
have to answer that same Q over, and over, and over

If your going to run the Trickflow cam and Intake then why not just get the Trickflow top and kit and run the heads for it as well? They will make more power then the GT40 heads anyway and the top end kit comes with everything you need for a H/C/I swap

They'll prevent wheel hop and allow you to get more power down to the ground.I bought my Ford racing 3.73 gear set with rebuild kit from Latemodel Restoration Supply.
