I need to ditch the straight pipes.

Magnaflows sound good and don't cost HP. Try a turbo style race muffler. Now that I know more then "Mustang's NEED flowmasters" its what I would have done.

It's kinda scary how much a couple years of research and actual hands on experience change your thinking.

Ive had 2 chamber flows w/orH on many mustangs in the last 16 yrs, but after switching to Bassanis this year I would have to say there is no better, meaner, nastier sounding exhaust out there. JMHO, they are a little on the pricey side but the quality and sound are worth every penny.

Don't forget, with the SLP system, you can swap in the Loudmouth II mufflers, which are a bit less crackly from what I understand. You may even be able to order the catback with the LMII's instead of the LMI's. If Borla made the Stinger catback for our cars, that woulda been my first recommendation to you.

Dynomax Superturbo catback. I havent gotten a good quality sound clip up yet. But they have a nice low idle rumble, and gets loud at WOT. No drone on the highway at all.

Its nice and loud when driving around in a low gear, people notice me.

i have magnepacks that are for 96-98, cause when i got them they didn't make magnapacks for the 5.o yet. also have mac o/r h pipe which with the magnapacks sounded great. then i added headers, am i sound like a frieght train crash coming down the street. if i can i'll try to get a clip up tomorrow.

I just got some spintech mufflers with dumps.I love the way they sound with my hpipe, nice and deep.I had them first with my dr gas xpipe but to me it quiet it down and a lil raspy. So i switch to my mac hpipe yesterday and it sounds really good.
