Its a 1997 Mustang Coupe with an automatic transition.

I just got a killer audio system, and I want to wire it up but I'm scared that something will brake when I'm trying to pop a panel off. -for example, the step below the door I need to remove to wire the battery cable from the front to my second battery in the trunk.

Also, the plastic shield under the gear selector stick it stuck open and will not spring back into place, and I cannot see what gear I am in as the orange thing does not move with the stick.

Basically I would like some kind of manual telling to how to remove interior panels.

Thanks so much!

I just put in a new audio system the other day and had the same concerns, but the good news is that they won't break. The panel under the door is meant to come up and has a clip about every 9-12 inches. Lots of space under there to run wires/subwoofer cables/etc. To put back on just snap into place
