I’ve spent a bit of time this past week looking for a pulley for a 98 V6 mustang. The main crank pulley came loose, broke off and damaged the tensioner pulley and the water pump pulley. I can find the other pulleys, I can use a performance pulley for the crank after I get the balancer off and have a machine shop drill out the sheared bolts. I have contacted over a dozen places for the water pump pulley, but no luck. Thanks for any help.

Try car-part.com for a searchable list of salvage yards in your area. Also likely that the water pump pulley from other cars will work as well. This is were the salvage yard operators can be a real help.

How you priced it from Ford? At the very least you should know how much a brand new one cost so as not to over pay for a used one.
