Well I have bragged about our beautiful weather and now we were in the teenS last night. My water pipes were frozen. I turned the supply off in the garage, hopefully when I get home all will be thawed and no broken pipes..
Fello(a) Stang members wish me luck..... Iv'e been pulling the boat in one of the bays here for the past couple nights to keep it warmer. May have to tonight as well.

Good Luck!

You should look into getting some heat tape to put on your pipes. Its pretty cheap. You string it around the pipe and plug it in. When We had a manufactured home I put this on the pipes to keep them from freezing.

Heres an example

my pipes freeze everytime it gets around 20* or so.i have a crawl space and the pipes are located rite by the opening for the it.this fall i went down there and added some insulation that the previous owner didnt finish and re wired a heater to work off a switch that was also down there but you had to open the door to get to it which would let more cold air in when i did it.it was 5* here wed.s and thursday nite and with the heater and leaving my faucet on a drip i had no problems. phil

That sucks, luckily I have a full, finished basement so all we have to do is keep the heat on and the pipes won't freeze. Before we finished it it was a regular basement and i was a bitch standing there with a blow drier thawing out the lines.

Thats cool man, I talked with him once when he had some parts there for sale. Maybe that was your white LX he had in the air working on. He gave me a price on doing some gears but can't remember how much .
I asked on the fuel pump because we had a LX in here not to long ago that we installed a fuel pump in. I think his name was Dan as well. that why I asked.
Well im sure we will meet sometime, if we havn't already.
