Good point Rent, if the guy is willing to do an escrow type thing, no harm, no foul.

"A Fool and his Money soon Parts way" The seller would be better off parting it out on Ebay. then try to sell the whole thing. Unless your prepared to redue half the stuff someone else did I would think twice. I buy and sell Mustangs all the time. This isn't worth it. Not many people looking for a Half done Coupe. Sellers in the same shape alot of folks are, Too much money in the wrong places, If he wanted to sell it He should have spent more on looks and less on Mechanics, PLAIN HARD FACT

As the owner of two for the "undesirable body style coupes", the price is too high. Looks like part of the problem is the $6000 the seller paid in 2001 when he bought the car

Sight unseen ...never, if the car was perfect, complete restoration needing only paint..maybe.

If you look at the serial number, that was a 6 cylinder car. If you price decent paint jobs, even if everything else is perfect, you would have ten grand into a converted 69 6 cylinder coupe.

Is that what you want? If so, you will never get your money out of it.

I would pass.
