working on my own crap. I started Friday and after fighting a spring compressor for 2 days, I used a pry bar and finished it last night. I finally got the front Eibach drag springs and Strange adjustable struts on. This is the first time I've ever done more than take a wheel off suspension wise on a car, so I'm fairly proud of myself. ;D It sits oddly low now in the front now and it's lower on the drivers side than on the passenger side. I know I "clocked" them right. Any ideas why ??? The front springs did have 1 coil cut off of them. So far it drives fine, but I'm going to take it Wednesday to have the alignment checked.

Could be lower because Eibachs like to sag.. especially since it's been cut 1 coil, that makes it much more prone to sagging.

Unless you forgot a spring cushion thingy or somehow it got un clocked during install.. thats more than likeley the problem.

Good for you man..u did it.

Does the car take off much better than before? does it feel really nice if you launch real hard and can you really feel the lean inside the car? and does it feel safe driving it on the streets?

I figured out the leaning issue. I didn't put the front sway bar back on. Some of my buddies have the same setup and call it the "gangsta" lean. I can't tell if it launches any better. I'll have to wait until Friday when i go to the track. You can definitely tell that the front end wants to rise, even taking off normal from a stop light. So far the driveability and feel is different, but fine, even without the front swaybar. Just as long as I don't take corners Indycar style. :D I've got a friend with the same setup thats put 20,000 miles on his car since doing it and has had no issues with daily driving. :nice:
