I think I figured out why my milage sucked before...

I was working on my car yesterday and it came to me while cleaning off gaskets that the OEM injectors I just got didn't look the same as the ones I had taken out. So I go searching through the pile of stuff everywhere and find the old injectors, and see that they are much bigger. Also, to my dismay, they have different plugs...

Now I have to either order another set of these higher rate injectors, or get plugs and wires and whatnot to match the OEM injectors... and I really don't want to be splicing wires... :damnit:

How about resizing your picture to 800x600 or 640x480? Some of us are on dial-up with laptops here!

Is the plug different for sure? It looks like although the body of the new one is smaller, it has the same inlet and outlet size. If it was listed for your car, it should fit.

Apologies... the problem isn't the inlet and outlet, it's the actual plug which is hooked up to a wiring harness which tells the injectors when to release the spray. The plugs in my car had been changed out to fit this aftermarket injector, which don't fit on the stock injector. The plugs I have have a clip on either side, wheras the stock only should have one, and the prongs are different sized as well...

It looks like you're stuck with going back to the stock plugs on the harness. I'm sure that if there are any adaptors available, they're for stock harness to aftermarket injector, not the other way around. There's really nothing magical about the harness- just make sure you solder the wires and seal them with heatshrink tape!

Maybe you can see if all the injector plugs come together at a plug upstream and get that whole harness from Ford or a junkyard. At least you wouldn't have to splice anything.
