While installing my x-pipe I noticed A LOT of coolant leaking from somewhere in my motor. Also lately I have had to fill it back up with coolant a few times because of a low coolant light coming on. I have felt the radiator hose endings and they are bone dry, my dad also thinks that it is the water pump. So now i have 2 questions, do you think my water pump might be bad, and 2. who makes a good replacement water pump, i know meiziere is a good name, but do they have one for 94/95 street applications? any help is greatly appreciated.

To your first question...I'd need more info to make a fair diagnosis. Where do you see water leaking? Can you trace it back somewhere? There are a lot of places for leaks and even if it is leaking, it may just be a gasket and the pump is fine. Does the pump howl or grind when the engine is running? Does it leak out of the pressure hole in the pump housing?

My answer to your second question is: For your application, where you aren't asking much out of the pump, Ford makes the best stock replacements. They are pricey, but reliable. Other pump rebuilders/manufacturers are spotty at best. Other sources for a high performance pump would be Ford Racing, Edelbrock and possibly Weiand. I would recommend against it though, because it will only rob power from your engine at the RPM/power level you are at without giving you a performance advantage in return. Engines are best when they are completely balanced and the stock pump will do fine in your app.

I'm about to buy 2 of them so I have plenty of spares.

That's a deal right there.
