Well, i have to admit, Im VERY pleased with my car, and its performance. But I think its time I moved on. Im looking into any 94+ GT 5 speeds. I think its the interior/exterior styling (especially 99+) that got me hooked. Im starting to grow impartial of the outdated interior of the fox and the 80's look of the body (not so much the notch). I have made up a COMPLETE list of the mods, improvements and problems with the car. But I can only trade.

Now, I dont want you guys mistaking this for , plus who really cares what I do? But I wanted to hear everyone's criticisms about my decision. Good? Bad? why??? Thanks a lot guys! I don't wanna make ahuge mistake here!

Well, if the Fox is your DD .... I think it is a wise decision. You will have a quieter, smoother, more comfortable ride. I love Fox's, and will own one probably in the future .... but there's no way I'd use one as a DD. I've rode in ALOT of them ... and it just doesn't suit me for that purpose. It's entirely up to you. I'll just tell you this ... you won't regret it if you do trade, but that doesn't mean that's what is BEST for you. Only you know your car .... and only you know what you want / need.

Get both, the red one is my new ride. I actually like the power curve of the 5.0 better than the 4.6, but the new one is much more refined. Unfortunately my new one is a red head and an extremely stubborn sob. Ive never had so many problems with a car, but I kinda had a feeling it would be like this since the motors been pulled before

I agree with Justin's thoughts. The SN is a better DD all around. The fox is a little more eclectic though..........

Good luck.

i say listen to everyone's side but make your own decision. i will never own another fox or 5.0 for that matter.

the fox body always appealed to me, but have just been wore out. i see too many rollin on big and littles with dumped flows--imo is gay.

i like the 94/95's alot, but if i had to go back and do it over i would have bought a 96/97 cobra and done it up with mach 1 heads, 03 cobra irs, t56, 99-up wiring/ecm/cluster, etc.... all because when it comes time to make power you gotta spend major cash on a 5.0 block.

don't listen to the uniformed that say it costs alot more to mod a 4.6--that is just not true. and they are not that much harder to work on.

I love the 94-95, modern looks with the classic 5.0 engine. I agree with ben though you may want to test drive a dohc cobra.

id KILL for a cobra, and even if i could afford it, i wouldnt buy it, i think. the insurance from a 4cyl (shhh lol) to a cobra would double, eventhough ive been good for 8 months.

wow it never even occured to me how a car with a 4 cyl vin and a 302 swap would still have the 4 banger insurance since its still registered as a 4 cyl. That's GENIOUS !

I pay the same insurance for my 90 accord winter beater as the mustang because i just switch the plates over .

I've owned quite a few, and as far as a DD, I like the SN-95's better... But ONLY if they're modded! They're slower than a Civic stock lol

My current daily driver is my Supercharged 89 LX Convertible.... The windnoise is getting on my nerves, as my commute to college is 30 miles each way, 55-65 MPH... :-/

My favorite DD was my Lightning... But I couldn't afford to have a Mustang And the Lightning, so I ditched it in favor of 2 Mustangs.
