Yesterday when I got off work I noticed that my radio, the interior lights, the power locks and the speedometer were all not working. I replaced a blown fuse and the lights came on dim for about 5 minutes and then the fuse popped again. I looked in my haynes manual and the door locks and the speedo are on completely separate circuits. Can anybody give me some ideas? I've already unhooked the radio thinking it or my amp might be shorting out but no luck there. If I can't figure it out I'll have to take it to a shop and pay them $40 bucks an hour to hunt for a needle in a haystack and that will put off work on my other projects. Thanks!!!

Well, you obviously have a short somewhere!

I would take an ohm meter and start checking the harnesses of all the lights, locks, dash cluster, etc. See if any of them are shorted to ground. The wiring diagram in the Haynes manual will give you wire color codes to look for in each plug.
