I WANT 250HP+ FROM A CARBED 302....REPLY!

Ok guys im putting a carbed 302 in my 87 lx. it is now a efi 2.3, I am in the process of looking for a good motor to put in. I want to get any where from 225 - 275HP out of a carbed 302 with no MAJOR work. If I do a good intake,a 4 barrel holley, gut the cats,use stock 5.0 headers, and no ac,smog, can i get even close to this? If not what do i need to do to get about 250hp ou tof a 302? i dont have alot of $$ to spend and i need this car to be as practicle as possible. I am a student with a part time job, so the gas milege will be a factor. I currently have a t-5 in my car and ima use it when i do the swap also. I already have the parts to make it work, now its just time to pick up a motor. P.S. Is there a certain stock 302 that puts out about that much power already? I will most likely be getting a junk yard good running 302 and doing a seal and shine on it.
