hello, i have a mellings cam, MTF-1 is the part #. anyways i just recently installed a torker II intake that puts the power range somewhere from 2300-5500. my cam i believe is from idle to 5000, it has a good lope to it but when i had the motor in my truck with the heavy c6, it needed a good stall and more gear. now that i have a lighter vehicle and a 5 speed, it runs way better. but i want to get a bigger cam and some different springs for the cam, i just want a cam that will match my intake's range. what is a good cam. it is not a roller cam but the block is roller ready and i have the spider bars and pushrods to change over to roller. but with a new roller cam, would i need new roller lifters or are those reusable unlike the flat tappet cams and lifters. anybody have any suggestions.

Call lunati or comp cams. They can help you pick a good cam. As far as the roller lifters, if they are not damaged, you can resuse them.

awsome, i may just slap on the roller stuff and go with a good roller cam, are the ford racing cams any good or are they just old off the shelf versions.

they are still good cams, but you arent going to get the power out of them that you would with a custom cam or some other cams
