I kept searching craigslist and forums. I bought mine the last week of December when everything is cheaper. Tax season is still going on so prices will start dropping in a couple months.
While I need another car like I need another hole in my head, I looked through the listings on Craigslist several times a week over the past several years for Fox bodies of any year. Always a few interesting cars and I found my '91 convertible on there.
If anyone has noted my statements being in past tense, good eye. Craigslist has pretty much dried up for "good deals" (i.e. cheap deals). They've implemented a $5 listing fee for cars and the cheaper Fox bodies have all but disappeared. Guess that leaves Facebook Marketplace now. Too bad for me, I don't do Facebook!
