OK. So I want to practice painting flames. Where do I get that narrow tape and what is it called? I am talking about that tape where they initially tape off the flame designs.

I am thinking of doing some scrp metal, wood then possibly a mailbox or 2. If I get brave enough, I may one day do my car.

You should be able to find what you need here:
http://www.autobodysupply.net/Painthome.htm

Beyond that, I'm of no use at all. I've dabbled with body work and paint and suck at it.

Thanks, I just ordered some from eastwoodco.com. Probably get it locally too, but unless they have it at autozone, there is nothing like that in my area. Thats what I get for living in the burbs.
