IAF?

Ok...newbie question. I've been reading around in here for a while I keep seeing IAF listed in a bunch of posts, mainly as a potenial problem with idling. What is a IAF? Sorry, but I did do a search but everything is listed IAF, not spelled out anywhere.

do you mean IAC?? which stands for Idle Air Control

Do you mean IAC? That stands for Idle Air Control and its a valve that does just that...it controls your idle.

The IAC gets clogged with carbon after a while and must be cleaned with throttle body cleaner. If you don't you eventually with start having trouble starting your car in the morning.(It'll crank and not idle)
