Are The IAT and ACT the same. My Chiltons book only shows a IAT and no ACT.
I ordered a ACT , ECT and a new fuel pump to get rid of my pinging . I have already changed o2s and cleaned the MAF new plugs, wires and my timing is at 10 deg and it pings real bad at 3000 rpm.

Yep, 94CobraPace is wrong. ACT = air charge temperature, IAT = Intake Air Temperature. ECT = Engine coolant temperature sensor, which measures the temp of the engine coolant. ACT/IAT measures the temperature of the incoming air charge (screws into rubber air intake).
