Me too. Probably because I can sit in my house and listen to people slide by. Oh, and the good ol' past time of listening to the MVA calls multiply on the scanner.

Anticlimactic. It was solid ice on the road in front of my house at 10pm last night. Now it is standing water, raining, and 35 degrees. Silly weather droids got it wrong ... again.

But I had already told my boss last night that I was planning on working from home today, so there is an upside.

Hey Dave, you think Allen wants to race today?

Winter tires with studs all around on the 4X4. I didn't see anyone out last night that wanted to race. I did pass a few Subys going really slow but that’s normal.

Nah, it's 36* (and slowly rising) and raining steadily. We're done with wintry weather for a while, unfortunately.

I hate the weather forecasters here! They say we are getting freezing rain and it will be around for 3 to 4 days. One damn day and now I need to go put on the street tires. I don't mind the manual labor since I am not a desk jockey like some of you. (Dave)

You're worse than a desk jockey ... you're a manager.

I am not a manager. Can you please remove the picture of your mother on your avatar. She is starting to freak me out with those eyes.

you all can blame the snow/ice storm on me. I went down to Mt. Shasta last week and it was sunny and dry. I told my brother that it would start snowing after I left. Well, it started snowing... just not in Mt. Shasta. amnit:

Better than people who think they can drive, but don't realize they're on a sheet of black ice.crapola

That's what happens around here.

A little late considering that the weather has passed, but driving in this crap living in Bend for years is 2nd nature. I always kind of chuckle when I see the valley tear itself apart over a 3/4" of snow, but then again you guys don't get it too often here. I had to drive to work Monday night on the icy roads, and not once did the ass end of my car slide. It was my first experience driving a car like this on the ice, and I fared well. Too used to FWD with my old Nissan. Good to see I still have the snow skills
