We should have a sticky that specifically says in a few words.

NO, A THUNDERBIRD SUPERCHARGER IS NOT A CHEAP NOR DIRECT BOLT ON TO A V6 MUSTANG.

then we could go on to explain why its not a cheap supercharger for our cars and then explain why it doesn't just bolt on...it not being cheap is directly related to the fact that it just doesn't bolt on. And, then we could then add the fact that with our crappy internals a roots style supercharger like that won't make much power on our cars becaues we will have to run very low boost.

he was probably saying that being if they're such an idiot by not being able to find the answer themselves, let 'em f* up their car. however i'd probably just let them buy it and then tell them that it's not any good....i wouldn't let 'em totally f over their car lol

Personally, I would not want to be the one to put that sticky together. In my opinion, who cares?? So what if there is alot of repaet threads. If they dont want to search, then fine. We just won't respond. But why make even mroe work for someone else here @ Stangnet?? If you don't like whats being asked, dont repsond. Its simple. If everyone will abide by this, then these folks might just take the hint. And you know damn well stickies like these never solve the problem. Take a spin over to the 94-95 forums and see what they did. A sticky dedicated to the differences between the 94-95 Cobras and GTs (among other things), but guess what, there are constantly new threads about that very topic. Personally I think its a waste of time for whoever gets stuck doing it, but that's just one little ol' opinion.

if u don't reply, they won't know any better. They will just think that the people on stangnet are asses. We don't want them to leave the boards completely. We just want them to use the search button...thats it.

And posting smart ass comments in those people's theards isn't going to make us look like asses??? If it were stated in a helpful manner, fine. But I've seen where alot of people here have come down way too hard on the "stupid newbies" so in that respect I still disagree with you. Alot of people here like to smart ass off when they see a chance to look like a guru here in front of a newb and that just pisses me off b/c people have a habit of showing their asses from time to time. We all started somewhere; a few people forget that from time to time. Redundant questions do suck, but there are more important things to worry about than how many cai or SC blower threads get posted a week. Apparently I am the minority here on this subject, but I figured if someone didn't chime in this thread would get boring.

Well u have a point. But, to back up my statement. I am an ass to everyone, not just newbs...lol. Its just that i get so many more opportunities with them compared to people who have been on the board for a while.

Well if it makes you feel any better (or worse depending on what you are shooting for ), I don't think you've given me any personal reason to black list you yet. You have managed to keep the assiness (cool word, huh?) towards me to a minimum thus far.
