Good point. I think I'll just sell it and buy a Supra with 800hp.

Nice catch Tim! I forgot to add that to the list, but it already has those welded in too.

I like good deals though....what can you do for me Tim? LT's?

LT's are a serious possibility. How hard are the installs on 5.0's? I know on 4.6's they seemed like a PITA.

Plus I'd have to do some research on what brands might actually fit with my other mods. Don't want to get some that don't fit, it would just piss me off.

Nawz....I guess that's a possibility....for some reason NO2 has just not peaked my interest. Seems like cheating

You win the longest sentence award

I really don't have a problem with it, I guess its just a personal opinion....just haven't felt the need for it yet.

Does the motor need to be pulled or lifted for LT's?

If so I might change from these solid motor mounts to something a little softer.

Having the solid steering shaft might help, aren't they a bit smaller?

Go for a used vortech kit. Keep your eyes open and you'll find one cheap like I did.

Heck even new I've seen some decent prices on s-trims.

What all is needed in a kit for a Fox? Beyond the piping and actual blower.

Larger MAF, injectors, fuel pump, etc?

I wouldn't change much. Car seems like it's got a lot already.

Engine... 65-75mm TB and MAF.

Trans...Fluid change. Everything else there looks good.

Suspension...5 lug disc rear brakes...I regretted going drum.

Suspension...94-95 spindles and 99-04 PBR dual piston calipers for front or Cobra brakes...whatever you can afford. (I can help you with these parts. I have all)

Paint and interior...nothing. Sounds like it's all done. Just keep it clean.

Wheels.....look at 1990Coupe's white lx with the FR500's.....SIIIIIIIIIIICK!

Yeah I'm not sure what TB is on it. I pulled the intake pipe and the butterfly doesn't have any sort of marking, neither does the TB. The stuff he gave me listed a Vortec Mass Air Meter, but nothing further.

Good point, I do need to change all the fluids just to be on the safe side.

The brake work I hate to mess with right now. Of course down the road it may be the only thing left.....to switch to 5 lug and upgrade all the brakes equipment. Right now I don't have the funds for all of it.

Wheels, yeah his car looks sick! That would probably be a major driving force to going 5 lug....some nicer wheels. I like the look on mine right now, but I think something like FR500's would be sick too.

To do it right, at least 42lb injectors, at least a walbro 255 high pressure intank, and a matching MAF. I'd recommend a chip or tweecer so you can get the air/fuel ratio down into the high 11's under boost, but a lot of people use a fmu and get acceptable performance.

Oh don't get me wrong...your Cobra R's look good, just IF you go 5 lug...(some people won't) then go with FR's. If hack job didn't have the 2001 rear end, I would have went FR's.

IMO good idea to stay away from Nitrous. I'd rather have the boost ontap at all times, and not have to worry about filling up a silly bottle all the time.

I agree. It can be done properly, but everybody I've talked to locally, always has problems.

MY friend has had good luck lately with it on his 95GT, but a first he kept burning up his IAC motors (3 of them from me, 2 new ones) and then he popped headgaskets. I dunno..N02, not for me.

The upper and lower intakes could really use some help. Something about that Holley intake. From other places I've read, whatevers its made out of is very porous on the outside and doesn't clean up once its greased up.

I signed up for Stangbangerz earlier, waiting for my approval. Might be a good place to try to sell those chrome Pony's locally and not worry about shipping....and raise some funds for new tires

Well bs'ing here is giving me some ideas. Get the problems fixed, and spend time detailing....and have her clean for spring cruises and stuff. I need to get a porter cable and really buff the body. The paint is great but has some of that orange peel look to it still. My buddy was telling me a wet sand would do wonders to it, but I'm afraid of screwing it up.

Then maybe some LT's, 3g alternator, and perhaps one day a 5 lug swap and revamp the brakes.....and maaaybe a blower someday as well. If I start getting into auto-x types of events, the brakes and 5 lug swap would probably come sooner than later. For now the discs on all four corners seem to offer pretty good braking.

I'd recommend getting it powdercoated. Looks great and easy to keep clean. I think I paid a little under $100 to get it done.

When you detail it, you owe it to yourself to use zaino. Especially with a black car. I did my wifes mercedes with 3 coats of z2 pro/zfx with spraywax inbetween and when done, it reflected everything perfectly. You could basically read your license in it. I don't think long tubes will give you enough of a gain to make it worth it unless you just want a different sound. Get the blower! It will make it like a new car again. Looks like summit is almost giving away sq trims and you can always find s trims used.

Yeah i hear u, what u mean is na 331 stroker forged internals with AFR 185 heads custom grind cam 10.5:1 compression accel 30 pound injectors PMAS 75mm bullit mass air and a lotta! other go fast **** making atleast 400RWHP and more important than that over 400 in torque. And then when its all said and done i go once a month if that to fill that silly bottle that i love for a little 75HP shot of Juice all on the same tune used when i feel like alittle more kick in da pants. Tuned right i bet u i will get more miles out of that motor than the same motor with boost all the time available with a supercharger just MHU
