My main concern is there is nothing on this clutch (part #, name[valeo or anything]) and all the pic show blue springs for KC clutch. Mine kinda looks like a stock clutch kit. Or I'm just being very peranoid.

Looks to me you have a reason to worry.

The springs on your disk are smaller (and a different color) than the KC that he posted above.

The KC should have ripples in the fingers the HD has flat fingers.

According to there ebay store they sell only real KC clutches no fakes. They also say Valeo no longer makes these clutches, but D&D says other wise and those who have purchesed in the last few moths (215what) say they look like the pic posted. Grnlx is right my springs do look smaller hell my entire PP looks weaker to the other one posted.

Also notice the metal dots going around the PP, the KC shown has one while mine has two.

Well wystang mine came in ford racing box and my spring's are purple stamped valeo. They say the disc doesin't matter it's the pressure plate that matters? I can't post on the corral for some resson. Every one's clutch's seem to differ at this pont? What a mix up this has turned out to be!

I think I'm startig to understang this, the Ford racing KC clutches come with the stamps and part numbers on the disk/PP. While OEM KC cluthces are plain jane (just like SUPRCHRGD302@corral said), on a local stang board a member said his looks identical to mine (no marking/stamps anywhere) and he got his at Pro Motion (a highly regarded Ford drivetrain specialist).

Well with the confirmation that another guy recevied the exact same clutch as me, but from a very well known and respected shop like Pro motion I'm good to go. I wouldn't worry about the purple spring one bit......you actually have a part number/stamps to tell you what you have lol. I just had to dig a little harder for my info. Thanks people for your help....

Cool. yeah the purple spring's messed me up there after seen'ing every one else had blue one's. The guy I got my car off of said he put A king cobra in that's why it my sig. but it's going out so got new one that's sitn in room. I can tell there's not a stock clutch in my car I'll know for sure when I put the new one in. Can't wait to see what that looks like!!

Jesus what a f**king nightmare bro.

How do I know I have a KK? Well, it's printed on my f**king reciept, and it feels a hell of a lot better than stock, and I trust my shop because they only work on mustangs. Other than that, I have no f**king clue, and it kinds of irks me. I wish I could help dude and the only advice I could offer is only buy from QUALITY SELLERS - **** is way too shady my man. Good luck though, seriously. It sucks.

ACTUALLY YOU KNOW WHAT?

All of this can be solved by getting CENTERFORCE DUAL FRICTION clutch or a Mcleod. Better product. Only reason I didn't is because my setup is WEAK. Hell I don't even have a setup. And also the fact that I barely could drive it and needed something ASAP.

Tripleblack95 the fact that another local stanger recieved the same KC I did from a very reputable shop (Pro Motion) puts me at ease. Trust me if it wasn't for that response I would be driving up there right now (about 2 hours from me) and having a "civilized talk" with them. From the research and responses of my fellow stangers it appears there are two types, OEM style which has absolutly nothing on it & the Ford racing style wich has Valeo stamped every where.

So it seems Dynamic Racing just sells OEM style not Ford Racing style. They just show the Valeo I guess.....so they did good

So is there a difference between two as far as performance?Or its just the pressure plate that matters?
