Just the pressure plate that matters, they are the same minus all the markings and blue springs. I just checked my email and dynamic racing responded with they have joined and will respond to this thread when they have a chance. But it seems Pro Motion is also selling the OEM KC clutch with no markings so Dynamic Racing is honest.

I just got an email from Dynamic racing some will find this very intresting.....

We buy the king cobra pressure plates directly from the manufacture 500 units at a time so we do not get them in boxes..The items come in several large containers and then we box them as kits when we sell them..We have started including stage 1 disks that are rated up to 450 HP to make sure the clutches we sell advertised to handle 400 HP will not have any failure..We sell these clutches cheaper then anyone else in the country because we have the buying power to do so..ASTRO is selling LUK clutches in a blue box that says KING COBRA and has flat fingers..The way to tell a true king cobra is only by the grooves in the pressure plate..Stock clutches, OEM replacement Clutches,Regular cobra clutches and all others will have flat fingers without any grooves in them

I'm not sure what to think as I have heard nothing but good thing about Astro....

In Ford nomenclature, what is a stage 1 disk? I have not heard that referenced to Ford stuff before.

What are you guys calling OEM? The Ford HD clutch has the same disc as a King Cobra, but the pressure plates vary. They have similar if not the same clamping force, just the KC has a lighter pedal feel IIRC...

I had an HD disc in mine with a stock pressure plate for a while... Say screw it with the TKO500 and went SPEC Stage II and never looked back. It'll wear your leg out at a long stoplight though
